Regarding the Champagne Bruno Paillard Blanc de Blancs 2015
The 2015 Blanc de Blancs champagne from Maison Bruno Paillard is made exclusively from the first pressing of the purest Chardonnay Grands Crus from the Côte des Blancs (Oger, Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger, Cramant, and Chouilly), 25% of which is aged in oak barrels.
This 2015 vintage offers a champagne with a sunny intensity blended with the freshness of its chalky terroirs.
Like all of the house’s cuvées, it is dosed as Extra-Brut (3 g/L). After more than 7 years of aging and 24 months of rest following disgorgement, we discover a champagne with fine bubbles. The nose is fresh, revealing notes of white flowers and honey. The palate is powerful, with a full-bodied texture and a chalky backbone. The finish lingers with delightful briny notes.
It is best enjoyed at a temperature of 8 to 9°, as an aperitif or during a meal paired with fish.
Artist Jeff Kowatch, famous for his sun-inspired compositions, was chosen to illustrate this superb 2015 Blanc de Blancs champagne.
