Regarding the Champagne Besserat De Bellefon Cuvée des Moines Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru
Each of the House’s non-vintage cuvées is aged in the cellar for at least three years. Cellar aging is therefore much longer than the minimum period required by the appellation.
Presented in a superb 18th-century bottle, this Blanc de Blancs —100% Chardonnay, elegant and refined—perfectly exemplifies the excellence of Maison Besserat de Bellefon.
A lovely, clean, and fresh nose of hawthorn blossoms. A mousse composed of light, airy bubbles. A full-bodied, dosed champagne, marked on the palate by subtle tangy notes that reveal soft hints of lemon and citrus against a gentle hint of brine.
This Blanc de Blancs from Besserat de Bellefon, made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes sourced from Grands Crus in the Côte des Blancs, has an aging potential of at least 15 years. A dazzling champagne to enjoy with a shrimp medley, a scallop carpaccio, or a vegetable tartare, for example. It is ideal for pairing with light dishes, seafood, and fish.
Numerous awards have recognized this superb cuvée.
