Regarding the Champagne Besserat De Bellefon Cuvée des Moines Blanc de Blancs Magnum
The Cuvée des Moines is one of the jewels of the Champagne House Besserat de Bellefon. Each non-vintage cuvée of the House rests in the cellar for a minimum of three years. The ageing in the cellar is, therefore, much longer than the minimum duration required by the Appellation.
Housed in a superb 18th century bottle, this elegant and refined 100% Chardonnay Blanc de Blancs perfectly illustrates the excellence of the Maison Besserat de Bellefon.
A nice fresh and frank nose on hawthorn flowers. A foam formed by light and very airy bubbles. An ample and well-balanced champagne, marked in the mouth by a few acidulous touches that reveal sweet notes of lemons and citrus fruits on a soft iodized touch.
This Blanc de Blancs from the Maison Besserat de Bellefon, made exclusively of Chardonnay from the Grands Crus of the Côte des Blancs, has an ageing potential of at least 15 years. A dazzling champagne to be enjoyed with a bouquet of shrimps, a carpaccio of scallops, or a vegetable tartar for example. This magnum is ideal to accompany light dishes, seafood and fish.
Numerous awards have crowned this superb "Blanc de Blancs" in magnum.
