Regarding the Champagne Lenoble Blanc de Noirs Premier Cru 2016
A great 2016 vintage for this Blanc de Noirs 1er Cru champagne from AR LENOBLE!
Aged entirely in oak and after nearly 8 years of maturation on the lees, this champagne offers a seductive nose rich with aromas of candied yellow fruits and dried fruits. After aeration, spicy and toasty notes emerge, reflecting its aging in oak barrels. On the palate, the attack is lively, with a creamy and velvety texture, featuring aromas of brioche and ripe red fruits. The long finish brings minerality and freshness.
Its absence of dosage gives it remarkable purity, highlighting the distinctive character of this grape variety and the terroir.
It pairs divinely with foie gras, roasted lobster, chicken breast, or—more surprisingly—for dessert, pear-stuffed almond cakes.
This intense and highly elegant Blanc de Noirs should be served in a white wine glass at 10 to 12°.
