Regarding the Champagne Bollinger PNVZ16
Maison Bollinger launches its all new champagne : a Blanc de Noirs named PN VZ16 (P for Pinot, N for "Noir"= Black, VZ for Verzenay and 16 for 2016 harvest.
This cuvée is mainly made from Pinots Noirs from Verzenay and from the 2016 harvest completed by reserve wines.
Pinot Noir is one of the pillars of the Bollinger style, and this cuvée gives us a unique vision of this grape variety !
This 100% Pinot Noir has rested twice as long as the rules of the appellation requires.
We discover a champagne with a golden color, with a complex nose rich in fruits aromas (apple, rhubarb, plum). After aeration, we have aromas of hazelnut. The mouth is greedy and expressive. It reveals brioche and exotic flavors, with a saline finish.
You can enjoy it from aperitif to meal, for example with a Langres cheese or a tomato tart.
