Concernant le Champagne Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Françaises 2006
Champagne Vieilles Vignes Françaises 2006 from Bollinger is not only a great Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru, but a very rare champagne too as only 3300 numbered bottles where produced. 2006 offers us an exceptional Pinot Noir !
This champagne is sourced from two single plots adjacent to the House in Aÿ, who survived the phylloxera in the late nineteenth century. Cuvée "les Vieilles Vignes Françaises" from BOLLINGER was created from these old vines. A very rare cuvée which is the memory of a lost vineyard.
While the nose offers an exceptional aromatic complexity revealing the perfect maturity of the wine, the palate is remarkably balanced.
A great cuvée to be enjoyed just for the pleasure of champagne itself, or in accompaniment to the most exceptional meals such as white caviar, or Alba truffle.
A wonderful tasting moment aimed to the greatest celebrations, and presented in its luxurious wooden case.
