Regarding the Champagne Mumm Millésime 2008
Thanks to perfect maturity harvest, cuvée MUMM vintage 2008 is a well balanced champagne between fruit notes, power and roundness.
The power of Pinot Noirs (68%) combined to the minerality and fineness of Chardonnays (32%) gave birth to a remarkable cuvée.
The sparkling golden hue is vivified by the effervescence of fine bubbles. The nose unveils a great aromatic complexity where the Pinot Noir expresses aromas of yellow fruits. The palate is round and gourmand, and the long final unveils a beautiful minerality. The perfect harmony between freshness and velvety.
Champagne MUMM Vintage 2008 is the perfect accompaniment to grilled foie gras, apricot jam and wildfowl.

“Only the best”: this was the motto of Georges Hermann Mumm, the grandson of Peter Arnold Mumm, who founded the renowned “cordon rouge” brand—the MUMM Champagne House—in Reims in 1827. Georges Hermann took over the reins of the company in 1852 and turned it into one of the most prestigious Champagne Houses. With nearly 8 million bottles produced annually, the company—which has been part of the Pernod-Ricard group since 2005—offers a classic, comprehensive, and flavorful range. Discover clean, smooth vintages with an immediately approachable style, crafted for true connoisseurs.
