Whereas with 12 hectares of grand cru, we never developed a pure Special Club "grand cru", as we always add a little of "Cuis 1er Cru" bringing freshness, hallmark of our style...
We decided to create several « Special Club » cuvées from the 2012 vintage : our blend of « Grand Chardonnay terroirs » and several « SINGLE GRAND CRU TERROIR » cuvées, in limited quantities.
The Special Club « OGER GRAND CRU » 2012 is the very first of the range to be available, as its natural power and its « more smoky » mineral expression compared to our regular blends, prompts us to offer it now.
A rare cuvée (only 3027 bottles produced), 100% chardonnay from Oger Grand Cru, with a poor sugar dosage (5 gr/l).
A very nice discovery for every lover of uncommon champagnes !

Champagne Pierre Gimonnet
In the world of champagnes, there is a true "Pierre Gimonnet" signature. It is refined, elegant, wise, never exuberant. This style is the creation of Michel Gimonnet in 1935, the father of Olivier and Didier Gimonnet who are now in charge of the 28 hectares of Chardonnay, classified Grand Cru and Premier Cru.
Over the years, they have succeeded in sublimating the House's wines. The brothers, in love with their terroir, perpetuate a timeless wine style, based on freshness and aromatic finesse. Unique and prized "Grands Blancs".
