Bollinger's cuvée de prestige : La Grande Année 2012 is now available! This is Bollinger's interpretation of an exceptional year. At Bollinger's, only very high quality harvests become vintage. The 2012 harvest is a perfect example. This superb 2012 vintage offers us a generous champagne, lively, full and complex.
It is elaborated from 65% Pinot Noir and 35% Chardonnay, with a vinification in small casks. Grande Année 2012 has been raised in cellar for twice the length of the appelation’s requirements.
The eye unveils golden hues which is a sign of the wine's maturity and Bollinger's wine-making methods. The nose very expressive reveals aromas of almond, apricot, hazelnut and honey. On the palate, the structure is exceptionnaly dense, persistent and of a beautiful freshness which ends with beautiful bitterness.
The Grande Année 2012 is a must-have for a gastronomic meal. It is delicious with scallops, grilled oysters or a chicken with potatoes and truffles.
You can enjoy Bollinger’s Grande Année 2012 immediately, or choose to store it in your cellar ... but this might be quite a challenge to wait!

Champagne Bollinger
Created in 1829, the House of Bollinger, located in Aÿ, covers 165 hectares of vineyards, with 85% of Grands and Premiers Crus. 60% are Pinot Noir, whose power is the hallmark of Bollinger champagnes. This House offers us very great wine champagnes, powerful, complex, refined and with low dosage.
Symbol of the requirement and the perfection, the house is since 1884 one of the official suppliers of the Crown of England. The House of Bollinger has 700,000 magnums in reserve: it is the only House to have such a precise palette of aromas to complete its blends. The best vintages are vinified in wood and all of its champagnes are aged for twice as long as the rules of the appellation require.
