One cuvée per year! This is the choice that the Jacquesson champagne house has made, to create the exceptional.A unique blend, representing almost all of the estate's production, supplemented by a few reserve wines.

A late-disgorged cuvée and the Lieux-dits cuvées are also released each year.Jacquesson has selected three lieux-dits in 2009:Dizy Corne Bautray, Avize Champ Caïn and Ay Vauzelle Terme.

jacquesson-1

Cuvée 743

12 months on the lees in foudres, 36 months (minimum) on the lees in bottles, 6 months (minimum) of rest after disgorgement, first marketed more than 4? years after the harvest. The grapes come from the estate's three Grands Crus and two Premiers Crus, and only the first press juices are used. This cuvée 743, with no dosage, is therefore made from the 2015 harvest in Aÿ, Dizy, Hautvillers (60%), Avize & Oiry (40%).Cuvée 743 develops a powerful, gourmand nose. The palate is splendid, with a fine, taut mineral structure. It offers absolutely fantastic tension and precision.

Cuvée 738 Dégorgement Tardif

Cuvée 738 Dégorgement Tardif comes from the September 2010 harvest. It will have spent 96 months on the lees, before their Dégorgement Tardif in June 2019. This rare gem (only 14,910 bottles and 741 magnums) is a blend of 52% chardonnay, 24% pinot noir and 24% pinot meunier. This marvel offers a bouquet of ripe, fresh, subtly spiced apples, lemon and sea breeze. This champagne is pure and elegant.

The Lieux-dits cuvées are the recognition of the very specific character of a particular terroir.

Cuvée DIZY - Corne Bautray 2009

Cuvée Corne Bautray 2009 is an unfined blanc de blanc made from grapes grown in the southwest-facing lieu-dits Corne Bautray, where 1 hectare of Chardonnay has been planted since 1960. Even rarer than Cuvée 738 Dégorgement Tardif, only 5,172 bottles and 300 magnums are produced.

Cuvée AVIZE - Champ Caïn 2009

The Chardonnays for this cuvée were harvested on September 18, 2009. 12,000 vines of the white variety planted on 1ha30 in 1962. The 10,306 bottles and 395 magnums are of great delicacy. Bottling took place on June 3, 2010 and disgorging 9 1/2 years later. The result? A champagne, extra-brut, with a slight acidic touch of citrus and apple and a very present salinity. A true cuvée de terroir.

Cuvée AŸ - Vauzelle Terme 2009

This beautiful cuvée blanc de noirs, with no dosage, comes from a small 30-acre parcel of 2,500 pinot noir vines planted in 1980. The 2008 vintage was rated 19.5/20 by the Revue du Vin de France guide! That's how exceptional this cuvée is. The 2,522 bottles and 155 magnums offer a nectar of incredible volume and endless length on the palate, with a nose of dried fruit and quince. On the palate, it's smooth and full-bodied, with a long finish and a pleasant minerality.

Champagne Jacquesson

Maison Jacquesson is a small, up-and-coming company! Its vineyards are made up of Grands Crus and 1ers Crus are pampered (most are treated organically) in a quest for excellence.

Its cuvées highlight a particular terroir, hence the presence of numerous parcel-based cuvées. The Cuvées 700, on the other hand, are the only ones produced by blending, and each reflects a particular year. Each Cuvée 700 is therefore different from the previous one, a highly original concept in Champagne!

These Cuvées 700 are available as classic cuvées or as cuvées disgorged later, giving them incredible ageing potential. Tasting the two versions of Cuvée 700 is an unforgettable experience!
