Regarding the Champagne Ruinart R de Ruinart 2016
The contrasting climatic conditions of the 2016 harvest have revealed a harmoniously balanced champagne with a beautiful aromatic complexity. It is composed of 48% Chardonnay, 32% Pinot Noir and 20% Meunier, mainly from Premiers Crus and Grands Crus.
After 6 years' ageing, the nose opens with notes of exotic fruit, evolving towards cookie and dried fruit, and finishing with a saline touch. On the palate, it's round, fresh, harmonious and enveloping, with a zesty finish.
R de Ruinart 2016 is the perfect match for Bresse poultry, soft-boiled eggs or scallop carpaccio.

Champagne Ruinart
It is the very first Champagne House, founded in 1729 by the monk Dom Thierry Ruinart. Over time, Ruinart has become a reference for champagne and the French art of living all over the world.
The unique shape of its bottle is a tribute to the historical bottles of the 18th century. The House has the deepest and most majestic chalk pits in Reims, listed as a Unesco World Heritage Site since 2015, and has one of the most beautiful cellars in the world, eight kilometers long, listed as a Historic Monument since 1931.
