Regarding the Champagne Leclerc Briant Abyss rosé 2018
Unique! The Maison Leclerc Briant, in association with Amphoris, a company specialized in underwater exploitation, has created with the 2018 harvest, the 2018 Abyss rosé cuvée, specifically dedicated to an underwater maturation.
The grapes that make up this cuvée, selected from terroirs renowned for their outcropping limestone subsoil, are indeed in perfect resonance with the sedimentary marine subsoil of the Bay of Stiff, close to the coast of the Island of Ushant, in Brittany.
85% of Chardonnay and 15% of Pinot Noir vinified in red constitute this unusual vintage. It is exclusively from the 2018 harvest, disgorged in October 2021 and immersed in December of the same year, for 10 months.
Abyss Rosé 2018 embodies the fusion of marine and telluric energies, allowing to contain the solar effects of a generous vintage while letting the fruity substance take over your pleasure.
This champagne is animated by fine and lively bubbles. The nose is beautifully mature, with citrus and iodine notes. In the mouth, we discover a creamy effervescence, a frank and refined salinity. The vinosity of this generous 2018 vintage is a real call to pleasure. This cuvée Rosé Extra-Brut will be particularly well suited to shellfish.
The Cuvée Abyss Rosé 2018 from the Maison Leclerc Briant is offered in its box.
