Regarding the Champagne Lanson Le Blanc de Blancs
Champagne Blanc de Blancs from Maison Lanson is elaborated from a blend composed of 15 Chardonnay crus, most of them being Grands and Premiers Crus classified.
This cuvée has been created with 40% of cask reserve wines. It is truly faithful to the iconic style of Maison Lanson, fresh and aromatic.
Its pale yellow color offers a discreet and nice nose. This cuvée requires to be opened prior to tasting in order to discover its beautiful aromas of grilled almonds, frangipane, yellow fruits and sesame seeds. The well balanced palate is clear-cut, fine and ample. It develops chalky notes, followed by citrus, tangerine, lime and orange peel. The final is tight, salty, and coated with fine bubbles.
Champagne Le Blanc de Blancs from Maison Lanson requires to be decanted before tasting. You can enjoy it for the aperitif or during the meal with seafood, pasta, a grilled seabass or a fish risotto.
