Regarding the Champagne Lallier Ro22 Brut
At the heart of the Réflexion collection—the true signature of Maison Lallier—each vintage offers a unique interpretation of the year while maintaining a subtle balance between purity, freshness, intensity, and depth. This cuvée is composed of 80% from the remarkable 2022 harvest—a particularly bountiful and sunny year—supplemented by 20% reserve wines from the vintages of 2021, 2020, and 2019. Chardonnay makes up the majority at 52%, blended with 38% Pinot Noir and 10% Meunier. This precise blend reveals the full personality of a Lallier Champagne that is at once generous, fresh, and deeply elegant.
On the palate, Réflexion R.022 first captivates with its luminous pale yellow color, delicately flecked with jade highlights. The nose reveals a refined freshness centered on white flowers, acacia, and hawthorn, joined by subtle notes of lemon. As it breathes, the bouquet gains depth, revealing nuances of vine peach and apple, followed by delicate notes of hazelnut and acacia honey contributed by the reserve wines, which have been aged for an extended period on fine lees. On the palate, the attack is rich and intense, before giving way to the finesse and freshness characteristic of Chardonnay. The finish, remarkably long and structured, elegantly rounds out the tasting experience. With a dosage of 7 g/L, this Brut Champagne offers a particularly harmonious balance between freshness, fruitiness, and richness.
A Champagne suited to both fine dining and social gatherings, Lallier Réflexion R.022 naturally complements life’s finest moments. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif to fully appreciate its freshness and aromatic profile, but it also reveals its full character when served with a meal. Its finesse pairs particularly well with fish, seafood, and shellfish, as well as with delicate poultry or refined cuisine featuring subtly crafted flavors. This cuvée also finds its place at an elegant dinner, when you wish to prolong the pleasure of a Champagne that is both expressive and precise.
Aged for a minimum of 36 months in the cellar, Réflexion R.022 is given the time needed to develop its complexity and harmony. Already particularly appealing on the palate, this Lallier Champagne can also be cellared for a few years under the right conditions, allowing its aromas to gradually evolve toward greater maturity and complexity. A Brut Champagne that elegantly combines the vibrancy of the 2022 vintage with the depth of time.
