Regarding the Champagne Charles Heidsieck Brut Millésime 2018
A very great vintage, 2018 offers us a prestige cuvée combining elegance and power, with a beautiful freshness. This 2018 vintage Brut Champagne is essentially made from Premiers and Grands Crus, with a majority of Pinots Noirs (55%) and 45% Chardonnay.
In the glass, the bubbles are dynamic, and the nose discreet. It reveals notes of brioche and cocoa on opening, gradually opening up to yellow fruit. The palate is round and generous. Fruit aromas explode on the palate, ending with a more saline finish.
After more than ten years maturing in thousand-year-old chalk pits, we discover a great Charles Heidsieck champagne, fine and elegant, with great ageing potential.
