Charles Heidsieck Champagne Blanc de Blancs : a cuvée full of tension and minerality.
This Charles Heidsieck Champagne, both generous and full-bodied, is composed of 80% wines from the current vintage and 20% reserve wines with an average age of 5 years.
This 100% Chardonnay, after extended aging in chalk cellars (more than 4 years on the lees), offers aromas of vine peach and citrus on the nose. On the palate, freshness and tension are wrapped in that typical Charles generosity: the attack is clean, without harshness, with a smoothness that is almost atypical for a Blanc de Blancs, which is often described as more angular than creamy. The balanced finish surprises with its minerality and salty notes.
This Blanc de Blancs champagne offers the aromatic complexity for which the House of Charles Heidsieck is renowned. It can be enjoyed within 7 years.
