Regarding the Champagne Charles Heidsieck Brut Rosé Réserve
A champagne of a pretty powdery pink color, of a great amplitude that this Brut Rosé Reserve cuvée of the Charles Heidsieck house.
A beautiful balance between freshness, structure and complexity resulting from the blending of 20% reserve wines aged 5 years on average of which 5% are red Champagne wines, coming from Riceys, jewel of the Côte des Bar, well known for its remarkable pinot noirs of a great delicacy. This 5% provides the tannins that the wine needs. The remaining 80% is divided equally between Pinot Noir, Meunier and Chardonnay.
This brut rosé Réserve develops childhood memories on the nose with strawberry jam cooked in a cauldron, and a few touches of vine peaches. In the mouth, it is greedy, fleshy, clearly on red fruits: raspberries, blackberries and strawberries with a tense and juicy finish. A real explosion of flavors in the mouth.
Enjoy it as an aperitif or during a Sunday brunch, or even with a red fruit dessert.
