Regarding the Champagne Charles Heidsieck Brut Réserve Collector Edition
Twelve titles of "Best Sparkling Wine Cellar Master of the Year" in the space of 20 years, the House of Charles Heidseick makes high-flying champagnes.
60/40/10: this is the perfect equation expressed by the House of Charles Heidsieck with this signature Brut Réserve. 60 is the number of vintages used in this cuvée. 40% of reserve wines of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. 10 years of aging on average for these reserve wines, which is exceptional in Champagne.
The color is golden, with very fine bubbles perfectly controlled, thanks to a slow and long maturation in pits. The nose is intense, complex, with pastry notes just out of the oven, with some touches of peach, date, and a little fig. There is clearly sunshine on the nose of this Brut Reserve. It is creamy on the palate with a nice balance, and brioche on the finish. A fresh champagne, true to the nose with vine peach.
Pair it with a wood-grilled sea bass, a salmon marinated in dill or poultry in chutney. A champagne with a strong personality, this Brut Réserve from Charles Heidsieck !
To celebrate the bicentenary of its founder's birth, Charles Heidsieck has decided to offer a Collector's Edition of the House's great classic: the Brut Réserve in a finely decorated, refined and elegant collection bottle. The artist Catherine Gran revisited the bottle to make it the temple of Charles, rooted in the vineyard and in history. Her work of great precision and extreme finesse entered the collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Paris in 2017.
