Clos des Bouveries, overlooking the village of Vertus, is an ancient plot of land belonging to the Duval-Leroy family, which enjoys a great situation providing exceptional conditions and producing one of the earliest growth cycles in the area, and enriching the fruits with an intense concentration of flavour, giving a most favourable effect on the senses. This champagne CLOS DES BOUVERIES 2005 from DUVAL LEROY reflects the terroir, the climate and the know-how of the Chef de Cave.
From a single plot and from a single grape variety, Clos des Bouveries is partially fermented in oak barrels to contribute fine woody notes and partially fermented in stainless steel tanks for mineral purity.

Champagne Duval - Leroy
The Duval-Leroy House is a family Champagne House that has been operating 200 hectares of vineyards since 1859. The vineyard is located on the Côte des Blancs, the preferred terroir for Chardonnays, and 40% of the vineyard is in Premier and Grand Cru!
Duval-Leroy offers us champagnes of great finesse and elegance. Champagnes elaborated with a great respect for the terroir, and which age for a long time in the cellar. This House was also the first to be certified High Environmental Value for its sustainable viticulture.
It was also the first Champagne House to produce a certified organic champagne, the first wine House in the world to be certified ISO 9002 for its quality control and the first to have elaborated a champagne with the Best Sommeliers of France!
