8 years of patience in the dark of the cellars to achieve its First Fullness, the one of harmony. The Power of Creation of Dom Pérignon has moved the audacious creator Iris van Herpen, Dutch fashion designer and creative force.
For the occasion of the end-of-year season 2014, she has playfully interpreted the concept of metamorphosis as embodied by the iconic champagne.
The über-premium creation features spiky yet organic structures, like fluid crystal. Inspired by fossils, the metamorphosis recalls the nature that inspires Dom Pérignon. A bottle of Dom Pérignon Vintage 2004 lays horizontally,taking its place as if it has been growing there for centuries, yet at the same time projecting itself into the future and its next transformation.
Crafted from a dark green, stone-like material, the structure suggests both rapid and slow metamorphosis, symbolizing a simultaneous look at both the past and the future.
A true masterpiece available in limited edition only : a racy, elegant and mineral champagne.
