Regarding the Champagne Taittinger Brut 2009
Brut vintage 2009 from Maison TAITTINGER is a very nice champagne characterized by its maturity, power and complexity. It is also very fine and elegant.
Maison Taittinger elaborates a vintage cuvée only when the quality of the harvest is exceptional. The great acidity and freshness of this cuvée suggest that this 2009 vintage is absolutely marvelous. The long aging period means that the aromas and wine’s complexity have time to develop.
Its pale yellow color and fine bubbles give way to a generous foam cord. The nose is fruity : pear, plum. Then comes dry flowers and dried fruits notes. At first, the mouth is fresh, rich, mature and ample. The final brings notes of honey.
This champagne is perfect for the aperitif but it is also delicious when served with a white meat, such as a veal with mushrooms.

Champagne Taittinger
Established in Reims since 1932, the family-run Maison Taittinger owns more than 290 hectares of vines, maintained using integrated viticulture methods, 170 of which are ploughed and herbicide-free.
This champagne house, which demands impeccable raw materials, gives pride of place to Chardonnay, which accounts for over 70% of its vines, bringing freshness and elegance to champagnes that remain young for a very long time.
The House also stands out for its collaboration with famous artists such as Vasarely and Rauschenberg. Since 1983, 11 bottles of Brut Millésimé have been redecorated, forming the famous "Taittinger" collection.
