Regarding the Champagne Henriot Cuve 38 Magnum
In 2015, the champagne house HENRIOT unveiled one of their greatest creation, Cuvée 38. This cuvée encapsulates the spirit of the Maison, that has passed through the hands of the same family since 1808.
This wine is the result of an exceptional project. Its blending process is both complex and unique – 100% chardonnay and 100% grands crus, and available in Magnum bottle size only, and the production is limited to 1000 magnums per year.
It was in 1990 that Joseph Henriot had the vision to set aside one vat and to add a portion of outstanding Blanc de Blancs each year, capturing the essence of every harvest. In doing so, he would create a perpetual blend both complex and rare. Its dosage of less than 5g/l gives full rein to the aromas of its terroir.
This Magnum is incredibly fresh, fine and elegant, and it develops a great complexity too. It is the perfect match when served with foie gras, a grilled seabass or even with a selection of goat cheeses. To perfect the elegance and fineness of Cuvée 38, this magnum is presented in a sublime box.
