Grand Blanc 2008 is a noteworthy exception in the otherwise Pinot Noir-dominated range of Philipponnat wines.
Grand Blanc 2008 is exclusively blended from Chardonnay grapes from the best growths (1er Cru and Grand Cru) of the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims, including some white Clos des Goisses. And the vintage 2008 is just amazing!
While possessing vinosity and a creamy texture, it is true to the lightness and finesse of a great Blanc de Blanc. Grand Blanc is a superb apéritif Champagne for beautiful occasions; It will also be a wonderful companion for all seafood, especially scallops, lobster and crayfish.

Champagne Philipponnat
Owner of vineyards since the beginning of the 16th century, the Philipponnat House is located in the heart of the Champagne region in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. Since 1910, the family uses the best grapes mainly from grands crus and premiers crus, always harvested more ripe than the Champagne average and the undeniable desire to work as naturally as possible.
Champagne Philipponnat: these are extraordinary vintages, fermented and aged in barrels, which remains exceptional in Champagne. Ancestral know-how that have been passed down from generation to generation.
The Philipponnat house has been awarded a third star by the Guide des meilleurs Vins de France.
