Regarding the Champagne Bollinger PNVZ19

PN VZ19 (P for Pinot, N for Noir, VZ for Verzenay, and 19 for 2019): this is the name given to Bollinger’s new Blanc de Noirs champagne.

As its name suggests, this PN VZ 19 cuvée is made primarily from Pinot Noir grapes from Verzenay, with the 2019 vintage serving as the base, complemented by reserve wines.

Pinot Noir is one of the cornerstones of the Bollinger style, and this cuvée offers us a unique perspective on this grape variety!

This 100% Pinot Noir has aged twice as long as required by appellation regulations. The result is a champagne with a golden hue and an expressive, rich nose filled with aromas of red berries and exotic fruits. The fruit-forward character of the nose carries through on the palate. It is supple, silky, and elegant, with a wonderful briny finish.

You can enjoy Bollinger’s PN VZ19 Champagne as an aperitif or with a meal, pairing it with a sea bream ceviche or a lamb tagine.
