Preparing a barbecue
Although it may seem tedious, preparing all the elements you'll need for your barbecue is crucial. It will save you precious time, while ensuring you're efficient and responsive for optimal cooking.
Here's the list of utensils and accessories you'll need:
- an apron
- tongs for turning your food
- a good knife and cutting board
- a large platter to hold your creations after cooking
- a drink to keep you hydrated throughout the cooking process
Are you all set? We're almost there. Before you get started, you'll need to make sure your barbecue is clean.
There are several ways to clean your grill: bicarbonate, white vinegar, aluminum foil, high-temperature cleaning. All natural products to keep your grill clean. Finally, we recommend that you clean it directly after use to avoid grease deposits, using a simple lemon, for example.
Grilled meat and champagne
Grilled, marinated or plain meat will be the star of your barbecue. We all know the great classics like chicken, sausage or merguez. But you can also enjoy a fine magret or rib of beef. The aim of a barbecue is to spend a convivial moment with friends and family. Why not surprise them with a champagne pairing? Champagne and barbecue can be a great combination!
To accompany your meat, we suggest you discover and taste an excellent rosé champagne: Cuvée Rosé Sauvage from the House of Piper-Heidsieck. This cuvée is particularly well-suited to red meat. The combination of this champagne's red fruits and the spicy flavors of barbecue is perfect!
Rosé Sauvage champagne is also available in a limited-edition "Barbecue" box. When opened, this box has a dual function, either as an ice bucket or as a barbecue. An original gift idea, to say the least!
The other equally tempting pairing suggestion is to enjoy your grilled meat with Rosé de Saignée champagne from Leclerc Briant. This organic champagne is a 100% pinot noir rosé de saignée, and its intensity will enhance the woody flavors of your meat. The perfect match.
