Regarding the Champagne Apollonis Monodie Meunier Vieilles Vignes 2013
Crafted to the rhythm of classical music, this Monodie Meunier Vieilles Vignes 2013 APOLLONIS cuvée from champagnes Michel Loriot, is a Blanc de Noirs Extra-Brut made from High Environmental Value certified vines planted in 1942 and aged for 9 years in the cellar.
A 100% pure Meunier champagne, it comes from the "L'arpente" plot planted by Michel Loriot's grandfather. This is a very rare cuvée, produced in only 2,500 bottles.
Notes of yellow peach and, to a lesser extent, apple, combined with fine touches of quince, spices and very discreet hints of buttered brioche. The palate is fruity, balanced and juicy, with notes of yellow plum, quince and a hint of yellow peach combined with yellow flowers.
An intense, well-structured champagne where the Meunier grape is pushed to the limit! This Monodie Meunier Vieilles Vignes 2013 champagne, single varietal, single vintage exceptional, is to be paired with Parmesan shavings or grilled lobster.
