Regarding the Champagne Veuve Lanaud Carte Noire 2012
Champagne Carte Noire Brut Nature 2012 from Maison VEUVE J. LANAUD is elaborated from a blend composed of 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. It is made only in very good years and the grapes are hand-picked in the traditional method.
Its very fine bubble and its pretty golden color testify to its long years of aging in the cellars of the House. Indeed, after a long time of maturation, this champagne reveals itself to be ample and of a very beautiful depth.
A nice nose of terroir with flavors of yeast, buttered bread, citrus and small white fruits. A fresh mouth, with floral notes, with a lot of vivacity, ending with a pleasant touch of bitterness.
This Cuvée Carte Noire Brut Nature 2012 of the Maison VEUVE J. LANAUD with a beautiful fullness, rich and distinguished at the same time is a real charmer to be enjoyed with an aperitif, fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, or even around a platter of soft cheeses.
