This cuvée expresses all the typicality of a Grand Cru Chardonnay champagne from 2011 harvest. The nose offers complex notes of white flowers nuanced by buttery, vanilla and roasted touches followed by a nice minerality. The palate is fresh, flowery then fruity on the quince.
A fresh and harmonious cuvée, with a good length on the finish. Enjoy Les Prêtrosses 2011 as an aperitif, or with elaborate dishes such as a Saint-Jacques tartare.

Champagne Veuve Lanaud
In 1919, Henry-Léopold Tabourin founded this trading house, which he named after his widowed mother, Joséphine Lanaud. Located on the terroir classified as Grand Cru d'Avize, Veuve Lanaud's vineyards are planted with 75% Chardonnay, mostly classified as Grand Cru de la Côte des Blancs. The preeminence of Chardonnay is a guarantee of the strong ageing potential of the wines.
The vineyard of 12 hectares in reasoned culture and in direction towards the organic culture is distributed on 13 villages of the wine champagne. The particularity of the House is to allow the wines the necessary maturation time in the cellar. The result is obvious, harmonious wines of great quality that reflect the terroir.
