Cuvée Spécial Club Cramant Grand Cru 2016 from Maison PIERRE GIMONNET & FILS is extremely rare : first of all according to the low quantity available (only 3880 bottles produced), and then according to its composition : a 100% Grand Cru of a single-terroir from the Côte des Blancs.
This Blanc de Blancs champagne is made from a blend of 40 plots of old vines of very great Chardonnays. It is hand-picked and aged on lees for 4 years, then disgorged three months before being available for sale.
This 100% Chardonnay de Cramant Grand Cru Extra-Brut (4gr/l) is a cuvée for the amateurs of more singular champagnes, a champagne with a silky elegance and a beautiful depth. A little jewel to discover urgently.
It is the "coup de coeur" of the House, from their favorite terroir!

Champagne Pierre Gimonnet
In the world of champagnes, there is a true "Pierre Gimonnet" signature. It is refined, elegant, wise, never exuberant. This style is the creation of Michel Gimonnet in 1935, the father of Olivier and Didier Gimonnet who are now in charge of the 28 hectares of Chardonnay, classified Grand Cru and Premier Cru.
Over the years, they have succeeded in sublimating the House's wines. The brothers, in love with their terroir, perpetuate a timeless wine style, based on freshness and aromatic finesse. Unique and prized "Grands Blancs".
