Spécial Club Oger Grand Cru 2015 from Maison Pierre Gimonnet is sourced from a single terroir : 100% Chardonnay from Oger Grand Cru.
Maison Pierre Gimonnet used to blend « various terroirs » in order to enhance the wine’s complexity and balance. With this cuvée, they decided to innovate in creating a 100% single terroir, 100% Grand Cru cuvée, which is available in limited quantity only.
Spécial Club « OGER GRAND CRU » 2015 champagne is the second cuvée to be released on the market. The vine was manually harvested, and the wine has been raised in tanks during 6 months, then aged in bottles lying on lees for another 3 years. A low sugar dosage (5 gr/l) complete the blend.
This very rare cuvée (only 5200 bottles produced) is aimed to singular champagne lovers !

Champagne Pierre Gimonnet
In the world of champagnes, there is a true "Pierre Gimonnet" signature. It is refined, elegant, wise, never exuberant. This style is the creation of Michel Gimonnet in 1935, the father of Olivier and Didier Gimonnet who are now in charge of the 28 hectares of Chardonnay, classified Grand Cru and Premier Cru.
Over the years, they have succeeded in sublimating the House's wines. The brothers, in love with their terroir, perpetuate a timeless wine style, based on freshness and aromatic finesse. Unique and prized "Grands Blancs".
