The marvelous Cuvée Substance from the House JACQUES SELOSSE is a Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru which is only produced in very small quantity.
This remarkable cuvée is elaborated according to the Solera blending method (each former vintage nurturung the next one), and the wine is aged in brand new oak barrels. It is preferable to oxygenate this champagne at least 20 minutes in the glass before tasting, the wine then gives its full potential revealing its complex and spicy character.
This champagne is aimed to connoisseurs, and it is the most original wine of the House! Given the high demand, this wine is subject to quotas. Keep this cuvée in your cellar and it will evolve gracefully.
CHAMPAGNE SELOSSE Jacques Selosse founded his champagne house in 1949 in Avize. His son Anselm, took over in 1974 and work his land and champagnes in the most natural way, in respect of the nature and the vineyard both. Jacques Selosse produces 57,000 bottles of champagne every year. Thus, this champagne is more than rare and highly desirable among the connoisseurs. These wines with a very strong personality have been acclaimed by critics. Given the huge success and the limited quantities available of these champagnes, they are hard to find and the champagne house strictly controls its implementation on the market.
