Champagne Winston Churchill 2006 from Maison Pol Roger is their Prestige Cuvée in homage to Sir Winston Churchill mindful of the qualities that he sought in his champagne: robustness, a full-bodied character and relative maturity!

This cuvée is composed exclusively of grapes sourced from Grands Crus Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. The Pinot Noir is dominant, and offers the structure, whilst the Chardonnay delivers elegance and fineness.

The nose is delicate, offering subtle notes of butter and brioche. Almonds and hazelnuts notes combine with delicate fragrances of yellow fruits highlighted by the freshness of citrus. On the palate, the attack is fresh and reveals a perfect balance between acidity and suppleness.

Only produced in limited quantity, champagne Winston Churchill 2006 from Pol Roger matured 11 years in the house’s cellars. It is aimed to accompany the greatest celebrations! This cuvée is delicious when served with a poultry or a veal in a creamy morel sauce.
