Regarding the Champagne Alfred Gratien Brut Nature
Alfred Gratien's Brut Nature Champagne is a refined blend dominated by the fruitiness of Pinot Meunier combined with the elegance of Chardonnay. To create this cuvée, the cellar master uses the current harvest to which he adds 15% of reserve wines, to give birth to a champagne that is distinguished by its complexity, its roundness and its perfect balance.
The choice of not dosing the wine aims to reveal the vivacity and freshness of the grapes. Rigorous selection of grapes, vinification and maturation in small oak barrels in the respect of tradition, voluntary limitation of volumes, no malolactic fermentation in order to respect the nature of the grapes and the personality of the terroir: here are all these attentions that make Alfred Gratien a unique, quality Champagne.
This is an accomplished champagne, without concession, in a baroque and dynamic style. A champagne that will delight the great connoisseurs of Champagne.
Served at 8°c, it will be perfect with firm-textured dishes such as lobster, raw ham, small game birds, old Gouda or old Mimolette.
