Regarding the Champagne Lafitte Brut Cuvée Spéciale
The Champagne Brut Cuvée Spéciale CHARLES LAFITTE 1834 advantageously combines complexity and vivacity, roundness and freshness. A cuvée in homage to the distant origins of this house which would be born in 1834.
A subtle blend of the three flagship grape varieties of the Champagne region, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Meunier, the nose offers greedy aromas of white peach, quince and currant, and some very fine scents of white flowers. On the palate, the attack is ample, and all in finesse and freshness on acidulous notes of citrus fruits and pink grapefruit. The finish of this superb champagne is long and sustained on beautiful aromas of caramel cream.
It is a talented aperitif wine, to be drunk with foie gras, but also with fatty fish or game birds.

Champagne Lafitte
Founded in 1834, the Lafitte house, which is part of the Vranken Pommery group, produces sophisticated and balanced champagnes. The traditional blending gives pride of place to Chardonnay, which produces very elegant cuvées.
The champagnes of the Maison Lafitte are aged for at least two years in the cellar. These champagnes, which flatter all palates, can be enjoyed from the aperitif to the dessert.
