46% Pinots Noirs give structure and balance to the cuvée, 37% Chardonnays bring roundness with ripe, juicy fruit and 17% Meuniers bring freshness to this sublime Krug 2011 cuvée.
The striking profile of this champagne is the result of 13 years' rest in the cellar, giving it finesse, harmony and expression.
The color is golden, and the nose is dominated by fresh fruit. The palate opens with an enveloping roundness of stewed fruit and thyme. The finish is chiselled and lively, with aromas of grapefruit zest.
This chiseled, round champagne is a perfect match for grilled meats, spicy dishes and gourmet desserts.

Founded in 1843, the Krug Champagne House is a family business that has been passed down from generation to generation and whose particularity is to produce only Prestige Cuvées.
The House has decided to remain on a human scale in order to offer champagnes of a very high quality in limited quantities. Distinction, singularity and originality define this House which produces rich and expressive champagnes thanks in particular to a vinification in small oak barrels, and a rest in cellar much longer than what is usually practiced in Champagne.
With an incredible library of nearly 150 reserve wines, the House of Krug offers us year after year the Cuvée Krug Grande Année, one of the best champagnes in the world... And to reveal the unique character of an exceptional year, the House created the Krug Millésime.
