The international fame of Pommery champagne comes essentially from the widow of the same name who inherited a small trading house in 1858. She imposed herself on the Russian market with her low dosage champagnes at a time when the trend was towards sweeter wines.
Overlooking the city of Reims, Château Pommery is now owned by Paul-François Vranken. Since 2014, Pommery has been awarded the "Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne" and "High Environmental Value" labels.
Built on authentic Gallo-Roman chalk pits, Pommery offers high quality, precise champagnes ! At the domain, it is the blend, not the dosage, that gives their distinctive character to the champagnes that you can discover here.
