Regarding the Champagne Louis Roederer Cristal 2004 luxury casket
Maison Roederer releases several bottles of Cristal 2004, more than 8 years following its first introduction on the market.
The flagship of Maison Louis Roederer, cuvée Cristal was created in 1876. The bottle is the replica of the 1876 antique Cristal bottle espacially reserved for the Tsar Alexandre II.
It is composed from 57% Pinot Noir and 43% Chardonnay, 21% of which being vinified in wood casks. It was disgorged in 2019.
This champagne is elaborated from the exclusive vineyard of Roederer, and sourced from 10 plots which are all Grands Crus classified.
This champagne unveils a dynamic, persistent and melted effervescence. The nose develops the iconic elegance and aromatic sharpness of Chardonnay, with white fruits, ginger and citrus aromas. The palate is elegant, voluptuous and extremely long, chalky, sweet and energetic both.
Following a long aging period, this champagne is delicious when enjoyed during a refined aperitif, and with an elaborate meal such as scallops, half-smoked salmon, lobster, oysters or marinated raw fishes.
A great champagne offering a huge aging potential.
It's sold in its elegant gift box.
