Cuvée Cristal is the flagship of Maison Louis Roederer, and was created in 1876. This vintage 2013 is elaborated the greatest years only, when the maturity of the Chardonnay (40% of the blend) and the Pinot Noir (60%) are perfect.
This cuvée is sourced from Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims, the Marne Valley and the Côte des Blancs. Following 6 years of aging in cellars and 8 months of rest after disgorging, this Cristal 2013 is remarkably balanced.
It silky texture unveils tangy and candied fruits aromas, highlighted by a mineral power where citrus and white fruits notes are revealed. The palate is tasty, concentrated and chalky both. A refined champagne with an unequaled palate length.
Cristal is a wine characterized by a great aging potential. It can be stored in your cellar for more than 20 years without loosing its freshness and power.
This exceptional champagne is delicious with fishes and noble crustacean such as a lobster, a capon or a poultry ! A legend to offer or to treat yourself in its superb luxurious box.

Still a family business since 1776, the Louis Roederer House relies on a vineyard of 420 exceptional parcels on 244 hectares, 70% of which are classified as Grand Cru.
The vineyard is very diverse and a viticulture of revival is applied with soft and virtuous practices inspired by permaculture. A large part of the estate is already converted to organic farming(it is the largest AB certified area in Champagne).
Despite the worldwide success of its prestige cuvee, Cristal de Roederer, the company has remained in control of its supply, which is based almost exclusively on its own vineyards.
Already present on the tables of Tsar Nicolas II, Louis Roederer champagne is still synonymous with excellence and three million bottles are shipped worldwide each year. These are great champagnes, harmonious, focused on purity, straightness and a rich aromatic mosaic.
