Regarding the Champagne Canard Duchene Léonie Iconic
This Cuvée Léonie Iconic pays tribute to Léonie Duchêne, co-founder of the Canard-Duchêne house in 1868.
This Cuvée Brut is distinguished by its balanced, harmonious Pinot Noir style, the result of a 3-year cellar-aged blend of 40% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 25% Meunier, which gives it its structure and richness. 50% of this blend comes from the House's perpetual reserve, initiated in 2012, with the oldest wine dating back to 2009.
This champagne has a beautiful pale gold color. The nose is complex, with a combination of yellow and exotic fruit aromas. On the palate, this champagne reveals aromas of candied pineapple, exotic fruit and slightly spicy notes, with freshness, balance and good length.
Cuvée Léonie Iconic is perfect as an aperitif, or as part of a meal, with a lightly smoked duck breast, a gingerbread-crusted sea bass or a poultry supreme with summer truffles.
