Regarding the Champagne Joseph Perrier Cuvée Royale Brut 2013
JOSEPH PERRIER's Cuvée Royale Brut Vintage 2013 is made from premier and grand cru grapes, with 54% Pinot Noir and 46% Chardonnay, with a very low dosage (3gr/l).
The name "Cuvée Royale" comes from the fact that JOSEPH PERRIER was official supplier to the Crown of England for Queen Victoria and King Eduard VII.
This champagne will have aged six years in the cellar before arriving on your table. 2013, which was harvested late, is marked by beautiful aromatic complexity. The finesse of the Chardonnay expresses itself on the first nose, with delicate floral scents. Citrus and dried fruit aromas follow. The palate is equally complex, with a clean attack. Fruity aromas with toasty notes and a zesty finish.
This Champagne Cuvée Royale Brut Vintage 2013 is perfect with a snack of pigeon fillet or smoked foie gras with fig confit.
