Regarding the Champagne Henriot Brut 2012
Henriot's 2012 Brut Champagne is an airy, spring-like wine made from 54% Chardonnay and 46% Pinot Noir. It will delight lovers of great vintages.
All in freshness and lightness, this blend of "Premiers" and "Grands Crus" sublimates a very great champagne year.
The robe is light gold and the nose is dominated by summer flowers and ripe fruits. In the mouth, freshness and lightness are present with a long and silky finish. A low dosage gives it a very harmonious balance.
This vintage will be ideal as an aperitif, or during a meal, with a filet mignon of pork in parsley, or grilled chicken brochettes and young vegetables.
This exceptional year, in the purest Henriot style, promises a good ageing potential for this elegant and generous cuvée which will evolve with time.
