Regarding the Champagne Henri Giraud Dame Jane Magnum
The Dame Jane cuvée from the House of Henri Giraud is a great rosé champagne!
A mythological Goddess of fertility in terracotta marks the intimate link between the natural fertility of the earth and the terracotta, the original crucible of wine, several thousand years before our era.
This champagne tells the story of the generosity of its Pinots (vines over 60 years old), clinging to the southern chalk, vinified in oak barrels from the Argonne forest and matured in terracotta jars for the AOC red wine.
The flavors that emerge explode with red fruits, wild strawberries, raspberries and notes of brioche and toast that are found in the mouth, it is crisp and greedy. Certainly a success for this vintage Dame Jane of the House Henri Giraud!
This champagne, of a great elegance, has an enormous power of ageing (around 10 years) that we will drink with pleasure throughout a meal with meats like a beef fillet or flambéed veal kidneys.
It's available here in magnum.
