The Champagne Brut œnothèque 2000 in magnum from the Maison CASTELNAU is a blend of Premiers and Grands Crus, in a singular vintage that has been enriched over time.
The oenotheque collection expresses the passion and know-how of the winemakers who take care of the vines, and the teams who elaborate and mature these wines with a sense of excellence and the patience of time. These are remarkable vintages that are only available in magnum. An enchanting experience awaits you.
It is composed of 65% Chardonnay for the crystalline effervescence, 25% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier for the roundness and the maturity. A discreet dosage allows to keep a beautiful balance in the expression of its maturity.
After 20 years, this great champagne offers us a great aromatic complexity. In the mouth, we discover lightly spicy and mentholated notes, with toasted nuances and floral scents. A nice freshness in the finish gives it a youthful glow.
The Champagne Brut Oenothèque 2000 from CASTELNAU will be perfect with sweetbreads or game with black truffles.
