Regarding the Champagne Alfred Gratien Cuvée Paradis Brut 2013
The 2013 vintage Paradis is composed of 65% Chardonnay and 35% Pinot Noir. A cuvée that represents all the know-how of the Cellar Master of Alfred Gratien.
The first nose is fresh and pure. It opens with aeration on grapefruit to let then come iodized notes and exotic fruits like passion fruit, pineapple and lime. Delicate touches of brioche bring the touch of greediness. On the palate, the Paradis cuvée is smooth and delicate, with notes of tangy white fruits, green apple, fresh currants and rhubarb. The chalky minerality brings the final touch to the wine.
This beautiful champagne is ripe enough to drink, but it also has a bright future. Perfect maturity should be from 2023 onwards.
You can pair the 2013 Cuvée Paradis with rich dishes like crab on brioche toast, langoustine, or chicken or pork loin served on a cream sauce.

Champagne Alfred Gratien
Located in Epernay and with a know-how passed on from generation to generation for more than a century, the Alfred Gratien House owns 1.5 hectares of vines classified as Grand Cru and 1er Cru and completes its supply from 60 winemakers.
There is no malolactic fermentation and the house vinifies its champagnes in oak barrels to preserve the aromas of the wine. A small production of great quality (250 000 bottles produced per year), to give birth to champagnes of gastronomes. Champagnes to taste and to offer to your friends and family during events.
