VEUVE CLICQUOT's Extra Brut Extra Old was created from reserve wines only, soaking up the essence of Carte Jaune to reveal it in a new light. It is a totally innovative champagne that blends the best of its heritage.

Blended from several vintages for their freshness, opulence and structure, this champagne illustrates the full-bodied richness of reserve wines. With a low dosage, in Extra-Brut, the cuvée shares the characteristics of Carte Jaune, sophistication and purity, opulence and freshness, to exalt them to their paroxysm.

On the palate, the attack is as powerful as it is silky. Freshness, minerality and purity are then present. On the palate, they unite to reveal a parculiarly long finish, enhanced by saline touches.

VEUVE CLICQUOT's Extra Brut Extra Old Champagne offers both the freshness expected of an aperitif and the depth required to accompany a dish such as guinea fowl, lobster, or suckling pig...

The famous Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, nicknamed "the Veuve Clicquot", acquired, after the death of her husband in 1805, some of the best vines, constituting an exceptional wine-growing heritage which today covers 515 hectares.

The "grande dame of Champagne" also innovated by creating the first blended rosé champagne. Since 1877, the House of Veuve Clicquot has dressed its bottles with a recognizable orange-yellow label, with an anchor, symbol of hope, as a logo.

At Clicquot, the style is anchored by the Pinot Noir grape, which gives birth to some of the most prestigious champagnes. Veuve Clicquot Champagnes are fruity, harmonious, chic. Flasks of gastronomy par excellence, for which the motto of the House is: "Only one quality, the very first".
