Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs « La Vigne aux Gamins » vintage 2008 from Maison Thiénot is a rare cuvée which is produced in very limited quantity : only 4000 bottles.

It is sourced from a 60 years old unique plot located in Avize, and dedicated to the two childrens of the family : Stanislas ans Garance. The chalky soils are famous for the superb Chardonnay, it clearly is an exceptional cuvée.

A low sugar dosage of 4gr/l combined with a very long aging period on lees for more than 11 years lead to complexity and depth which is very difficult to match. La vigne aux Gamins is an original champagne, full of flavors and of a great aromatic complexity, together with a perfect balance.

A beautiful golden color which unveils to the nose aromas of stone fruits, candied lemons, honey, brioche and minerality. The palate develops a great freshness and an exceptional purity, offering a superb harmony between candied fruits, dried lemon, hay and almond aromas.

This particular cuvée will delight amateurs of the greatest Blanc de Blancs champagnes. La Vigne aux Gamins 2008 from Alain Thiénot is delicious for the aperitif of when served with lobster, sushis or even with a tuna or salmon tartar. It is presented in its elegant and free casket.
