Regarding the Champagne Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2009
This Cuvée de Prestige is the flagship of Maison TAITTINGER. It is elaborated the greatest years only and is exclusively sourced from Grands Crus. Champagne Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2009 from TAITTINGER is assuredly a great Rosé champagne. This 2009 vintage offers a successful and brilliant Rosé champagne with this unique solar and light signature, born from the greatest limestone terroirs of the Champagne region.
Comtes de Champagne Rosé 2009 is composed of 30% Chardonnay Grands Crus from the prestigious terroirs of the Côte des Blancs, and 70% Pinot Noir from Grands Crus of the Montagne de Reims, to which is incorporated 12% of Pinot de Bouzy which has been vinified as red wine.
It draws its nobility from a long raising period of more than 12 years, offering us a silky and tasty balance.
A few light amber reflections highlight the extreme finesse and delicacy of the bubble. The nose offers notes of ripe red fruits, morello cherry, blood orange and vine peach, underlined by a mineral touch. On the palate, the fruity, fine and precise attack gives way to the perception of a silky and fleshy tannic structure, revealing all the strength of the Grands Crus limestone terroirs from which it comes. Tended by a brilliant chalky acidity and an exquisite freshness, the mouth stretches in a beautiful aromatic purity, testifying of the ardour expressing itself in this Comtes de Champagne Rosé.
A champagne for celebrations, having the qualities to be enjoyed at any time, during a meal on a pigeon or a lobster, or to accompany a dessert such as baked pears, a red fruit gratin, or even an old Comté cheese.
A legendary cuvée of rare elegance, which will improve admirably on the forthcoming years.
