2008, a legendary year in the land of Champagne…The liveliness and freshness of this vintage are limitless. It offers a vintage between full of freshness and minerality, with a huge aging potential.
Champagne Rare vintage 2008 is elaborated from a blend composed of 70% Chardonnay for freshness and minerality and 30% of Pinots Noirs for the fruit and structure.
At first sight, it unveils very fine and joyful bubbles. On the nose, the purity of the vintage is lively and reveals floral aromas, followed by vanilla and pear. After aeration, the mineraly of this vintage is clearly visible. The palate offers a fruit explosion : pineapple, passion fruit, citrus. The length is incomparable, and the saline and iodine finish offer a tremendous pleasure.
The complexity of this 2008 vintage is exceptional. An endless vintage ... to be enjoyed within the 20 forthcoming years ... If you drink it now, it will wonderfully pairs with a grilled sole or oysters.
A real gem, produced in very small quantities only. it is also an extraordinary bottle, alike a goldsmith creation, a piece of artwork which is decorated with a finely chiseled golden lace reminiscent of the vine.
