A secret compositition for this incredible cuvée Winston Churchill from Maison Pol Roger. It is exclusively elaborated from Pinot Noir Grands Crus vineyard and Chardonnay Grands Crus, and produced the very best years only.

Without any doubt, 2012 is among these exceptional years. Indeed, this cuvée is the nineteenth vintage ever created since its creation in 1975. The vinification is realised per grape variety and per cru.

This champagne is a tribute to Sir Winston Churchill, the famous british politician who used to enjoy this cuvée offering robustness, a beautiful structure and above all a great maturity… alike his personality !

The arial bubbles unveils to the nose several aromas of pear, green apple, tangerine and toasted brioches. The palate is powerful and develops quince notes, together with apricot fruit paste. It offers a fleshy and concentrated texture, precision with a lemony side leading to a sweet mix of spices, roaster almonds and vanilla. It is harmonious and of a remarkable complexity. Should you enjoy it with caviar, this champagne is absolutely amazing. You can also serve it with raw fishes, tartat or sashimis.

For 5 generations, the descendants of Mr. Pol Roger have made it a point of honor to remain faithful to the line initiated by the founder of the House in 1849.

It is one of the last great Champagne Houses that is both family-owned and independent. The champagnes of the House are defined by their roundness as well as their purity, regularity and intensity of their aromas.
