Champagne Rosé 2012 from Maison Pol Roger is elaborated from the blend of cuvée Brut Vintage (60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay) to which is added 15% of red wine (Pinot Noir) sourced from the best crus of the Montagne de Reims.
Sensuality and delicacy truly characterizes this champagne which has been produced in limited quantity. Cuvée Rosé 2012 was raised for 6 years in cellar and offers now a champagne with coppery reflections, with a full and rich nose, with notes of small red fruits which evolve towards spicy nuances. The attack on the palate is greedy and reveals flavors of redcurrant jelly, black cherry, followed by an explosion of sour flavors. It's a perfect balance between freshness and silkiness!
Champagne rosé 2012 from Maison Pol Roger wonderfully accompanies salmon, but also light pink meats or a fruit tarts. Every bottle is presented in its free gift case.

Pol Roger is the champagne of "gentlemen" as Jean-Paul Kauffman wrote in his book "Voyage en Champagne". For sure, it is the official champagne of the royal court of England. It was also the champagne of Sir Winston Churchill, a cuvée is dedicated to him!
For 5 generations, the descendants of Mr. Pol Roger have made it a point of honor to remain faithful to the line initiated by the founder of the House in 1849.
It is one of the last great Champagne Houses that is both family-owned and independent. The champagnes of the House are defined by their roundness as well as their purity, regularity and intensity of their aromas.
